Vaccinations...

Your donations will provide low cost vaccinations for pets in need.

Many pets are not being vaccinated due to financial hardship. This is not good for the pets or the community. To have a community be pet friendly, all pets need to be current on vaccinations, primarily rabies vaccinations.

With your donation, we will work with local veterinarians to provide vaccinations at the lowest price possible.

Emergencies...

As with people, a pet can have a medical emergency at any time. Pets suffer from many of the same illnesses as humans.

Seizures, heart problems, cancer and so on, can start at any age without warning. Many of these illnesses can be treated and the pet may live a long happy life with their family. But many families cannot afford to treat a sudden illness.

CAARE will work with families to find the best financial options to have the illness treated. There are many organizations that provide funding for emergencies, but it's difficult for many who do not have access to computers or know how to seek these options. If other options cannot be find, CAARE will work with the family to provide support for treatment of their pet.

Spay/Neuter...

Through education and providing spay/neuter assistance, we will help families find the lowest cost to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Pet overpopulation is a problem that can only be resolved by responsible pet care. Having pets sterilized to prevent unwanted litters will reduce the pet overpopulation.

In addition to reducing the pet overpopulation, sterilizing pets before the age of 6 months has many health benefits for your pets. Providing education on the benefits of early age spay/neuter and by providing low cost options, CAARE hopes to encourage more pet owners to take this action in saving pets from euthanasia.
